Watch Seb Gorka Repeatedly Refuse to Answer Whether Russia is ‘A Friend or a Foe’

Sebastian Gorka has done quite a few TV news junkets lately, and in his latest, he avoided the topic that continues to put pressure on the Trump Administration.

The White House Deputy Assistant spoke with NBC’s Peter Alexander today in order to discuss President Trump‘s Bastille Day visit to France. During this segment, Alexander noted how Russia has been a historical adversary for America, and he straight up asked Gorka “is Russia a friend or a foe?”

Gorka dodged by talking about Russia’s nuclear might, which prompted Alexander to repeat his question. “It’s somebody we hope to collaborate with, if possibly,” Gorka replied.

After a brief talk about counterterrorism, Alexander asked if Jared Kushner still has permanent security clearance despite his involvement in Donald Trump Jr.‘s controversial meeting with a Russian lawyer. Alexander also pressed Gorka about how Congressional figures like Trey Gowdy are criticizing the Trump Administration for damaging their own credibility with their amnesia when it comes to past interactions with Russian officials.
