Watch These Children React to Caitlyn Jenner and Teach the World a Lesson

The world is a cruel and intolerant place sometimes, and when it came to Caitlyn Jenner making her public debut after living as famed Olympian Bruce Jenner for so many years, the response was not always a pleasant one.

But the unpleasant responses came generally from stubborn, jaded adults who have perhaps lived too long to retain any sense of hope and joy. What would kids think about Caitlyn Jenner’s transition?

SheKnows actually got some kids together, showed them pictures of Caitlyn and Bruce, then told them they were the same person. Then they asked them what they thought about that and their response was beautifully sweet and kind. (Save for one kid, who, in his defense, seems really young. The only real excuse anyone can have.) “But they look pretty disgusted in the picture above,” you’re saying. What horrified them? The nasty responses on social media. The mean people.

Seriously, some of us grownups could learn a thing or two.
