Watch This MMA Fighter Accidentally Punch The Ring Card Girl After Losing Fight

Andrew “The Beast” Whitney lost his mixed martial arts bout against Farkhad Sharipov last Friday in Coral Gables, Fla. After the decision was announced, The Beast accidentally lived up to his nickname.

As the scores were being read, Whitney had his hand raised, in the expectation that he’d be declared the winner. Only, Sharpiov ended up getting the nod instead. And out of frustration, Whitney threw a punch in the air which was not intended to hit anyone.

But unbeknownst to The Beast, the ring card girl (whose name has not been released), was standing right behind him — directly in the path of the punch.

According to a statement by the CEO of Titan Fighting Championship, the organization which staged the bout, the ring card girl was treated by ringside doctors and is currently feeling fine.
