Who Won the Iowa Democratic Caucus?
The Iowa caucuses are tonight and finally, after months of waiting, we will have a check mark in the win column for one of the Democratic candidates.
In the Des Moines Register poll out this weekend, Hillary Clinton is narrowly ahead of Bernie Sanders with 45 percent to his 42 percent. Poor Martin O’Malley is at 3 percent, behind “uncommitted” (4 percent) and “not sure” (5 percent).
And the winner is…
Nobody yet!
Clinton and Sanders are in a virtual dead heat. As of this posting, Clinton is less than 0.5 percent ahead of Sanders in the polls. (O’Malley was at less than one percent and dropped out before the final result was called).
