Writer Smacks Down The Daily Show’s Suggestion Trump Jr. Plagiarized Him

The Daily Show thought it had a smoking gun on its hands tonight, but it turns out it’s not exactly what they thought.

See, they looked at some of the lines from Donald Trump Jr.‘s speech and found them to be very similar to a piece written by conservative author F.H. Buckley:

OMG, right?!

Well, it turns out that it wasn’t plagiarism. Buckley helped write the speech:
