Biden Camp Touts Vid Of Nikki Haley Questioning Whether Trump ‘Mentally Fit’ After He Confuses Her With Pelosi

In a video on of their official channels on X, President Joe Biden’s campaign promoted Republican candidate Nikki Haley raising the question of whether former President Donald Trump is “mentally fit” to hold office.
On Friday, Trump went after Haley at a New Hampshire rally, labelling her a “globalist fool” and implied he would not pick her as his running mate if he wins the Republican nomination. However, Trump then appeared to confuse her with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, blaming her for the Capitol attack.
“Nikki Haley, you know they, do you know they destroyed all of the information, all of the evidence, everything, deleted and destroyed all of it,” he said. “We offered her 10,000 people, soldiers, National Guard, whatever they want. They turned it down. They don’t want to talk about that. These are very dishonest people.”
Haley immediately pointed out Trump’s weird mistaken identity lapse the following day while speaking to supporters in Keene, New Hampshire, calling him out for his age and questioning if he is “mentally fit” to run the White House.
“We see that [President Joe] Biden has changed so much in two years,” Haley told the crowd. “But last night, Trump is at a rally and he’s going on and on mentioning me multiple times as to why I didn’t take security during the Capitol riots. Why didn’t I handle Jan. 6 better? I wasn’t even in D.C. on Jan. 6. I wasn’t in office then.”
The Biden-Harris HQ rapid response account on X, formerly known as Twitter, promoted Haley’s comments soon after she made them. Watch her comments below:

“They’re saying he got confused, that he was talking about something else, he’s talking about Nancy Pelosi,” she added. “He mentioned me multiple times in that scenario. The concern I have is — I’m not saying anything derogatory — but when you’re dealing with the pressures of the presidency, we can’t have someone else that we question whether they’re mentally fit to do this. We can’t.”
Haley at several points on Saturday also questioned Biden’s competence and mental fitness and remarked on his advanced age, but the Biden campaign did not share those videos.
