Biden Clenches Fists, Grits Teeth As He Calls Trump Someone You Want to ‘Smack in the Ass’ in Scranton Rant
President Joe Biden went on a bizarre rant on how former President Donald Trump and other Republicans are people you want to “smack in the ass” at a campaign event in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
On Saturday, the commander-in-chief spoke to members of a local carpenters’ union in Scranton, Pennsylvania in support of Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz in their campaign.
As the election nears it’s final days, polling shows Trump and Harris in a tight race in the key battleground state.
During his speech, the president called out Trump and Republicans, implying that in his old Scranton neighborhood they’d have resorted to violence against people like that.
“There’s one more thing Trump and his Republican friends want to do. They want another giant tax cut for the wealthy,” said Biden, then connecting that to being macho somehow. “Now, I know some of you guys are tempted to think it’s macho guy.”
“I tell you what, man, when I was in Scranton, I used to, we used to have a little trouble going down The Plot once in a while. From Green Ridge,” Biden told the audience, gritting his teeth as he added, “But I’m serious, these are the kind of guys you’d like to smack in the ass!”
The president’s Saturday remark evoking a physical confrontation comes days after the controversy over his infamous “garbage” remarks, which comic and pundit Bill Maher on Friday said are a much bigger deal than Democrats realize.
Biden also claimed Saturday that the former president would repeal the Affordable Care Act along with the CHIPS acts if he regained the White House. The president insisted Trump’s tax policy would only benefit the rich, claiming he would cut Social Security to cover tax cuts for the wealthy.
