‘Definition Of Ethnic Cleansing!’ Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Flames Trump’s Gaza Strip ‘Takeover’ Comments

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) slammed President Donald Trump for claiming the United States should “take over the Gaza Strip” after expelling Palestinians from the area.

During a Tuesday press conference alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the president claimed that Gazans should leave the area and go into exile in Egypt or Jordan. He then added the U.S. “will own” the territory which has been bombarded by Israel Defense Forces following the October 7th terror attacks.

While speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill on Wednesday morning, Ocasio-Cortez said Trump’s comments were the “definition of ethnic cleansing” adding that the conflict is “one of the most horrific humanitarian catastrophes” in modern history.

Ocasio-Cortez added, “It is part of the culmination of what I feel to be genocide of the Palestinian people. And this was genuinely one of the most horrific humanitarian catastrophes than we’ve seen in modern.

Less than a year ago, Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner made similar remarks by claiming  Gaza’s “waterfront property could be very valuable.”
