Trump Complains Jobs Created by Harris ‘Went to Migrants, Not to People’

Former President Donald Trump complained in his final campaign rally before polling day that “100% of the jobs that were created” by Vice President Kamala Harris in the past year “went to migrants, not to people.”

Addressing a crowd of supporters in Grand Rapids, Michigan during the early hours of Tuesday morning, Trump claimed “100% of the net jobs created in the last year have gone to migrants. Think of that. 100%.”

As the crowd booed, the former president continued:

One hundred percent of the jobs that were created went to migrants, not to people, and I’ll tell you what, your Black population is being devastated by these people. They’re taking all the Black population jobs away. They should announce those numbers before the election also because, frankly, what’s happening there – you’re gonna see some bad things happen. They’re taking their jobs and the Hispanic population’s gonna be next. You watch. It’s horrible. But if I win, it’s gonna be not so horrible because we’ll fix it. These are depression type numbers and that’s where we’re heading if she’s elected, and if she’s elected we’re talking about a 1929-style depression.

Trump’s comment about “Black population jobs” echoed remarks he made earlier this year, which resulted in heavy backlash.

During his June debate against President Joe Biden, Trump claimed migrants were “taking Black jobs” and “Hispanic jobs.”

Trump was grilled over the comment by National Association of Black Journalists moderator Rachel Scott and received criticism from former First Lady Michelle Obama and Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC).
