House Democrat Brutally Roasts James Comer With Cameo Message From George Santos
The trolling inside the House Oversight Committee went up a notch on Tuesday as Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) paid for expelled GOP member George Santos (R-NY) to deliver a message to Chairman James Comer (R-KY) over Cameo. Santos immediately took to selling personalized videos to fans on Cameo after being expelled from the House this month while facing 23 federal charges related to allegedly defrauding donors, identity theft, and a litany of other financial crimes.
“My dear friend James Comer has had a tough year filled with failed hearing after failed hearing. But in the spirit of Hanukkah, I wanted to offer him some words of encouragement from a Jew-ish former colleague of ours,” Moskowitz wrote on X/Twitter, sharing the message from Santos:
Hey, James. Just wanted to stop by to congratulate you for being the largest landowner in your county with your brother through all your LLCs. I think it’s amazing that you share a passion for Smurfs and the Pink Panther. Look, congrats on your promotion. I hope that the struggles of this year don’t transfer to next year and that you slay and kill it. I want to wish you, James, a very Happy Hanukkah. Bye.
Comer has been the focus of media attention of late as his bombshell allegations against President Biden continue to fall short of the hype. In recent weeks, Comer has zeroed in on loans that Biden made to family members like his brother and son, Hunter Biden, and alleged that loans are proof of financial impropriety. The latest allegation turned out to be Hunter paying his father back for car payments he covered while Hunter was broke which amounted to just over $4,000.
Moskowitz, who is also on the Oversight Committee, has sparred with Comer in often tense exchanges, one of which included Comer calling him a “smurf.” Moskowitz has trolled Comer online and in public as their feud has escalated and in early November issued a mock subpoena for Comer to appear before the committee to explain loans he made to his brother.
“It has been reported that Comer also loaned his brother $200k. We fully expect James to comply, just like the Trumps,” Moskowitz wrote on X, while posting a video reenacting frame for frame one made by Comer as he issued actual subpoenas to Hunter and James Biden.
