‘It’s a Coup’: MAGA World Melts Down Over Biden Dropping Out of Race

Some of the most staunch supporters of former President Donald Trump were indignant on Sunday after President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.
Biden announced Sunday afternoon he would immediately suspend his campaign. A short while later, he endorsed Harris – although the upcoming Democratic National Convention will decide the eventual nominee.
Many Trump supporters saw Biden, in his diminished state and with poor polling numbers, was the ideal candidate for Trump to face on Nov. 5. With the Trump campaign now treading uncertain waters, many of his strongest allies on social media lashed out.

Biden said in his shocking statement, “It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me
to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my
term.”
In a statement he shared later, Biden said, “Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.”
