MAGA Influencers Go Off on Media After Booker Does Arm Gesture Called ‘Nazi Salute’ When Elon Musk Did It
Conservative influencers blasted mainstream media outlets over the weekend after Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) raised his arm during a speech at the California Democratic Party convention, a gesture some online called identical to one labeled a “Nazi salute” when performed by Elon Musk.
Booker extended his arm in an apparent celebratory gesture while addressing the crowd. Critics quickly drew comparisons to an incident in January when Musk lifted his arm during a Trump rally, prompting multiple media outlets to suggest he mimicked a fascist salute.

Right-wing commentators argued the media’s lack of a reaction to Booker was hypocritical.
