Trump Predicts Pam Bondi Will Go Down in History as ‘The Greatest Attorney General We’ve Had!’

President Donald Trump predicted on Thursday that U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi would “go down as the greatest attorney general,” despite widespread dissatisfaction within Trump’s base.

“Pam, thank you very much. What a job,” said Trump during a meeting with law enforcement in Washington, D.C. “People don’t realize, they’re gonna see, she’ll go down as the greatest attorney general we’ve had. I really mean it, too.”

Bondi received heavy criticism from Trump’s MAGA base in recent months over her handling of government files related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

When the much-hyped files on Epstein ended up not being released, conservatives called for Bondi to be fired, with the backlash only growing as Bondi repeatedly dodged and shut down questions on the topic.

Despite the controversy, Trump frequently defended Bondi, even lashing out at his own base for “going after” his attorney general.

“What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening,” complained Trump. “We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein. For years, it’s Epstein, over and over again.”

The president protested, “It’s never enough for some people,” adding, “I think she’s doing a great job.”

This week, CNN reported that Bondi had “won” a “power struggle” with FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino over the Epstein files.

“It’s over,” an unnamed ally of Bondi told CNN. “She made it through. She’s going to be fine.”

However, Bondi continues to receive criticism from Trump’s base.
