Video Of Biden Being Guided Offstage By Obama at Fundraiser Blows Up On Social Media
A video from a star-studded Democratic fundraiser in Los Angeles showing President Joe Biden being taken by the arm and led offstage by former president Barack Obama went viral on Sunday, mainly among conservatives and MAGA users on X.
The fundraiser in Los Angeles drummed up over $30 million for the Biden-Harris campaign and brought in stars such as George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Barbara Streisand and others. Obama and Biden closed the event in a sit down with late night host Jimmy Kimmel, during which Biden trashed the United States Supreme Court over decisions that Democrats have not agreed with.
It was at the end of that sit-down that the clip shared by senior staff writer at The Hollywood Reporter Chris Gardner took place. Gardner wrote that, “President Barack Obama and President Joe Biden offer final waves to Peacock Theater crowd as Obama then grabs Biden’s hand to lead him offstage following 40-minute conversation with Jimmy Kimmel.”

The clip went viral quickly. Among the prominently shared responses was one from Piers Morgan, who called it “embarrassing” and wondered aloud how Democrats can continue to “let this go on.”
