Shaq Torches ‘Mad Dog’ Russo Over Questionable Sports Takes: ‘What the F*ck Do You Know?’

Shaquille O’Neal has a problem with members of the media — namely Chris “Mad Dog” Russo — discussing sports without ever playing it at a high level.

O’Neal called out Russo on a recent episode of The Big Podcast. Joined by former NFL quarterback Cam Newton, the 52-year-old explained how the two of them are able to speak their minds on sports because they have what he calls “G14 classification.” This fictional title, according to him, gives them a pass to be as openly critical as they want.

Russo, O’Neal said, does not possess the same classification.

“Now, it’s a lot of dudes who have no G14 classification, like fucking ‘Mad Dog,'” O’Neal said. “What the fuck do you know about quarterback? What the fuck do you know about being a big? So, shut the fuck up, ‘Mad Dog.’

“Stick to the traditional media. When it comes to sports, you don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about. I do.”

O’Neal wasn’t even aware of Russo’s existence until a few months ago, but he’s made it clear he’s not a fan. During an episode of his podcast in December, O’Neal said he would “slap the shit out of” Russo after the pundit claimed he was only the fifth-best center in NBA history.
