AZ Senate Candidate Tells MSNBC She Wants to Reach the ‘Same Audience’ as Pizzagater Mike Cernovich

Speaking to MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt on Sunday, Dr. Kelli Ward — who is seeking the Republican nomination for the Senate seat currently held by Sen. Jeff Flake — said she wanted to reach the same audience as Pizzagate promulgator and well-known alt-right activist Mike Cernovich.

Just days ago, Ward announced she planned on going on a statewide bus tour with Cernovich to promote her candidacy.

In addition to Cernovich, Paul Gosar, who recently went to London on the dime of an anti-Muslim think tank, is also supposed to be on the bus. There are even reports Tomi Lahren will join the bus too.

Yet, speaking to Hunt on Sunday, Ward seemed to be unwilling or unable to answer Hunt’s question about whether the Republican Party should “embrace” the so-called alt-right.

Ward first responded by repeating Trump’s MAGA slogan, but Hunt quickly said that was not what she asked.

“I’m not a part of the alt-right, I don’t really know what you are asking,  give me something specific,” Ward replied.

Hunt then noted that Ward has an alt-right figure headlining her bus tour.

“I have someone you are calling an alt-right figure,  please explain to me what you feel the alt-right is,” Ward shot back.

Then, after Hunt offered an explanation, she again asked Ward if that represented her campaign.

“I think that’s a ridiculous statement,” Ward replied before telling Hunt, “Mike Cernovich has an audience that we want to reach.”
