CNN’s Phil Mudd Breaks Down in Tears Talking About FL Shooting: ‘We Cannot Accept This’

CNN counterterrorism analyst Phil Mudd broke down crying on air sharing his visceral reaction to the horrific school shooting in Florida today.

Mudd, a veteran of the CIA and FBI, got visibly emotional as he talked about just how unacceptable these shootings are.

He talked about a terrorist he spoke to “who almost died” and lost his limbs before saying the following:

“I have ten nieces and nephews. We’re talking about bump stocks, we’re talking about legislation. A child of God is dead. Can not we acknowledge in this country that we cannot accept this?”

Mudd was in tears by the end of his comments and he told Wolf Blitzer he just couldn’t continue.
