Ingraham Warns Trump Against Attacking Other Republicans: ‘It’s a Loser Strategy’

Fox News host Laura Ingraham warned President Donald Trump against attacking other Republicans on Monday, arguing it was “a loser strategy.”

Reacting to Trump’s rally in Georgia this week, Ingraham said, “It was a great crowd, everyone was really happy, and then, you know, some of it became about Brian Kemp, the Republican governor.”

She continued, “I’ve said this before, and I’m gonna say it again, shooting inside the tent right now of the Republican Party, that’s a loser strategy. It’s not gonna work. They tried that in 2020 and we lost two Senate seats. Then in 2022– it doesn’t work. You gotta focus on what they are doing to destroy this country.”

Hoover Institution senior fellow Victor Davis Hanson replied, “Absolutely. Brian Kemp, whatever the disagreement, he’s already endorsed Trump. So it just– it doesn’t even do any good to go back and say that Joe Biden was the worst candidate in history, because he’s not running anymore.”

Hanson advised Trump, “So don’t waste time on Brian Kemp. I wouldn’t even get into the past history or personal history of Kamala Harris.”

“No. Waste of time,” Ingraham concurred.

Hanson concluded, “I would just say that she is flipping in a very opportunistic fashion just to get elected, and once she’s elected, it’s the Obama fourth term, and you know what that’s like. And if he sticks to that in those swing states, and JD Vance – there’s no more articulate person that can make that case – they will win. But if he gets off on these tangents, I’m worried.”

Trump received criticism from Republicans after he attacked Kemp and Kemp’s wife both on social media and during a campaign rally in Georgia on Saturday.

“He’s a bad guy. He’s a disloyal guy. And he’s a very average governor,” said Trump. “Little Brian, little Brian Kemp. Bad guy.”

Kemp quickly shot back on social media, urging Trump to focus on winning the election instead of “petty personal insults.”

“My focus is on winning this November and saving our country from Kamala Harris and the Democrats – not engaging in petty personal insults, attacking fellow Republicans, or dwelling on the past,” the governor wrote. “You should do the same, Mr. President, and leave my family out of it.”
