James Carville Says Biden Listened To ‘Idiot Left’ When It Came To the Border

Democratic strategist James Carville argued former President Joe Biden listened too much to the “idiot left” when it came to the southern border.

Carville joined NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo on Monday to discuss President Donald Trump’s first week in office. Carville blasted Trump for making immigration executive orders the thrust of his presidency instead of bringing down inflation, but he also accused Biden of not enforcing the law at the border for too long.

Carville still argued the border was “manageable” when Biden left office despite the “idiot left” claiming there are no problems there.

The strategist said:

It was a problem because President Biden listened to the idiot left and didn’t enforce the border. By the time that he left office, it was a manageable situation down there. So there was a lot different what three years ago than what happened when President Trump took office. Criminality of all kind should be dealt with and dealt with harshly.

And if there’s anybody in this country illegally that is a criminal, they’ve got to be sent back where it came from pronot. Just like anybody that’s legally in this country is a criminal. And you need to be tried and convicted and sent to jail pronto. So I’m not going to defend that. But, Chris, remember the number one promise that Trump made, which he was going to do something about high grocery prices, specifically eggs. Before he took office, he said, well, I can’t do anything about it. Well, thank you for telling us.

And I was very encouraged to see some Democratic members of Congress put out a thing today saying, well, what’s happened here? And of course, the price of eggs are going up, maybe because of bird flu or something, but the truth of the matter is, that’s not what he said in the election. So he says Greenland, Panama Canal, Canada, the you know, the Gulf of America or whatever insane stuff he says, and we shouldn’t get distracted by that. Your number one thing was you were going to do something about high grocery prices. You’ve got nothing if done up since you’ve taken office.
