Lady Aberlin of Mister Rogers Fame Wants Trump to Sing a Song Before He Gets Us Into A Nuclear War

If you, like millions of other Americans, grew up watching Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, you may be interested to know that Twitch, a popular video streaming website with interactive chatrooms, is playing every episode of the iconic children’s show back-to-back for the next couple of weeks. This is the second year in a row Twitch has done this.
You may also be interested to know that Betty Aberlin, a prominent “neighbor” on the show, regularly appears in the chatroom to share insider info about the show. (She also did this last year.)
Though the chat – and the show itself – is incredibly wholesome and very rarely political, Lady Aberlin, as she was called on the show, shocked the Twitch community when she put President Donald Trump on blast.
While watching a 1968 episode in which Mister Rogers sings a song called “What Do You Do With the Mad That You Feel?” Lady Aberlin had some suggestions for people who should sing the song.
The lyrics:
What do you do with the mad that you feel
When you feel so mad you could bite?
When the whole wide world seems oh, so wrong…
And nothing you do seems very right? What do you do? Do you punch a bag?
Do you pound some clay or some dough?
Do you round up friends for a game of tag?
Or see how fast you go?It’s great to be able to stop
When you’ve planned a thing that’s wrong,
And be able to do something else instead
And think this song:I can stop when I want to
Can stop when I wish
I can stop, stop, stop any time.
And what a good feeling to feel like this
And know that the feeling is really mine.
Know that there’s something deep inside
That helps us become what we can.
For a girl can be someday a woman
And a boy can be someday a man.
And Lady Aberlin’s comments during the song, straight from the Twitch chat:

In other words: If Trump ever wants to drop the bomb, he should just think of Mister Rogers, and “when you’ve planned something that’s wrong… do something else instead, And think this song.”
The million dollar question: How long will it be before Trump sends an angry tweet to Lady Aberlin? One thing’s for sure: It will not be a beautiful day in this neighborhood if he does.
