Mike Lindell Returns to Newsmax to Rail Against Twitter Ban, Hours After Torpedoing Segment With Conspiracies
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell returned to Newsmax Tuesday night hours after a completely off-the-rails segment, and this time he did not repeat what he said earlier about the 2020 election.
In the earlier segment, Lindell unleashed and tried to go down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories about voting machines, but Bob Sellers jumped in to stop him, read out a statement from the network about the 2020 election, and try to keep his focus on the Twitter ban.
But Lindell kept going and Sellers just walked off the set after failing to get him to stop.
Hours later, Lindell returned to Newsmax to speak with anchor Rob Schmitt about Twitter banning his personal account and the MyPillow account.
Unlike the earlier segment, Lindell did not bring up Dominion, this time focusing on railing against Twitter and saying “cancel culture keeps on spreading.”
At one point Lindell even talked about his business’ relationship with the network and said, “You guys have been great.”
He also spoke with Schmitt about businesses that have dropped MyPillow and the impending impeachment trial of Donald Trump. He didn’t mention the election directly, but in talking about impeachment Lindell referenced “a documentary I put together” that he thinks is going to help.
The only reference to the earlier segment came from Schmitt, who started off by saying, “Obviously you were on the network earlier in the day. We made some waves there, we’ll leave it at that. But you and Newsmax have always had a very good relationship.”
