Rep. Steve Scalise Shot During House Baseball Practice in Virginia
Republican congressman Steve Scalise was reportedly shot at the Congressional baseball practice in a Virginia park Wednesday morning, according to Fox News.
Fox & Friends broke away from their morning programming for the breaking news, reporting 50 gunshots were heard at the Alexandria baseball game.
The House majority whip was shot in the hip, according to Fox News. Kevin Rincone reported that Scalise was shot along with two Capitol police officers:

Rep. Mo Brooks, who was at the baseball game, texted updates to reporters, detailing the rifle used in the attack to fire “50 shots,” five of which he said hit Scalise:

Authorities said the gunman is now in custody, according to CNN.
