Trump Doubles Down, Attacks Bob Iger Over Roseanne Cancellation: ‘Where is My Call of Apology?’
Once again, it seems President Trump is making the cancellation of Roseanne Barr‘s show all about himself.
Yesterday, Trump attacked Disney CEO Bob Iger for cancelling Roseanne because of the star actress’ unhinged remarks. The president complained that he never received an apology for the “HORRIBLE statements” made about himself on ABC, and it looks like he won’t be changing his tenor on the subject any time soon.
Iger, where is my call of apology? You and ABC have offended millions of people, and they demand a response. How is Brian Ross doing? He tanked the market with an ABC lie, yet no apology. Double Standard!

Trump has chosen to say nothing in condemnation of Barr’s racist attacks against Valerie Jarrett. Instead, it appears he’s trying to spin the conversation away from that subject in order to attack ABC’s coverage of his administration.
Since Trump brought up Brian Ross, it’s possible he’s talking about the time when the chief investigative correspondent erroneously reported that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn was getting ready to testify that the president ordered him to make contact with Russian officials in 2016. Ross corrected the report later in the day, and was suspended for several weeks as ABC addressed the incident.
