Trump Rips ‘Beauty’ Maxine Waters Over Rhetoric: ‘Could You Imagine if I Said The Things She Said?’

President Donald Trump hit one of his favorite punching bags at his rally on Wednesday night, California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters.

Waters, who recently urged her supporters to confront Trump administration officials in public, has drawn outrage from supporters of the president who claim her rhetoric could lead to violence.

“Maxine, she is a beauty,” Trump said sarcastically at the rally.

“I mean she practically was telling people the other day to assault,” Trump declared. “Could you imagine if I said the things she said?”

During the 2016 election, Trump repeatedly urged his supporters to beat up protestors, said he himself wanted to punch protestors in the face, and offered to pay the legal bills for supporters charged with assault.

“Can you imagine seriously if I said that, or somebody else said that?” Trump continued as his rally. “Horrible, what she said. Now they want to censure her. Let’s see where that goes, folks. Her own party was talking about censure, let’s see where that goes.”
