Watch Alicia Keys’ Perform ‘Send Me An Angel’ At Whitney Houston’s Funeral

The funeral of Whitney Houston this afternoon has been a ceremony of homecoming as much as of departure, and after speeches by Tyler Perry and Kevin Costner as well as religious prayers and performances, Alicia Keys took to the piano to perform a truly moving rendition of her song “Send Me An Angel.”

After saying a few brief words praying for Houston to be safe and warm in a better place, Keys performed with just a piano before her, a solemn and tearful ode and prayer for Houston’s spirit.
