There’s not much to say here, except that the above video of Piers Morgan getting trolled by his Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid could be the best thing you watch all day.
The short clip starts with Morgan, the infamously opinionated commentator, bemoaning his friends who talk politics on Facebook.
“I get annoyed when people start banging on about politics on Facebook,” Morgan starts.
“I’ve had to unfriend family members. Because, come on, please, I need some respite,” Morgan said. “Can’t you just put a picture of your little kid having an ice cream or something, doing a cartwheel?”
Now if Piers Morgan complaining about people talking about politics too much struck you as rich, you would not be alone. Morgan’s always witty co-host Susanna Reid picked up on the remark.
“I know exactly what you mean,” she chimed in. “When someone just keeps going on and on and on.”
“And you just need respite, and a break, and you just wish you could de-friend them,” Reid continued, as the GMB cameraman masterfully focused in on Morgan’s helpless expression.
“But you’re just forced every day to listen to their views, I know exactly how you feel,” Reid said, before seamlessly segueing to the day’s headlines.
