Ex-GB News host and cleric Calvin Robinson is taking some time off after his post-firing press tour to visit DisneyLand in California, while almost having reached the £30,000 crowdfunding target that’ll “keep a roof over his head.”

Robinson posted images of himself on Instagram enjoying all the park had to offer, including the theme park’s Pixar and Star Wars locations.

This comes after more than £28,000 donations poured into his ‘Crusade Against Cancel Culture’ GiveSendGo campaign page. The campaign information explains that GB News was Robinson’s “primary source of income” and that the campaign was “raising funds to keep a roof over his head” and to resource “a potential legal battle.”

Robinson went on to promote the link via his SubStack in which he criticises his former employer as “controlled opposition” — an organisation that aligns with a particular side, yet covertly operates against the interests of that movement.

In the intervening weeks Robinson has appeared on several podcasts and news networks to discuss his firing.

Robinson was suspended from GB News after opting to stand with colleague Dan Wootton. Wootton was suspended alongside fellow network commentator Laurence Fox after Fox’s misogynistic rant about Ava Evans, a reporter for PoliticsJOE, occurred on his show.

After a brief investigation both Robinson and Fox were both fired. Wootton remains under investigation by the GB News.
