WATCH LIVE: New IRS Acting Head Makes First Appearance At Congressional Hearing

The House Appropriations subcommittee will hold the fourth congressional hearing Monday afternoon on the IRS’ targeting of conservative groups. The hearing will feature testimony from Treasury Inspector General J. Russell George and the first appearance by the IRS’s new acting commissioner Daniel Werfel. The proceedings are expected to begin at 3pm ET.
