WATCH LIVE: NSA Chief Testifies About Government Spying Programs
National Security Agency chief Gen. Keith Alexander will sit before the House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday for a rare hearing that might include new information about the federal government’s surveillance programs.
The general has met with lawmakers several times since Edward Snowden revealed classified NSA information. But this hearing, entitled “How Disclosed NSA Programs Protect Americans, and Why,” will mark the first time Gen. Alexander has spoken publicly about the agency’s surveillance programs.
