Orlando Bloom’s DNC Performance Was Way Better Than Katy Perry’s
Katy Perry performed at the Democratic National Convention last night, but it’s her boyfriend Orlando Bloom who stole the show. During her speech, cameras cut to Bloom who played the role of doting boyfriend filming his girlfriend perfectly:
During her speech, Perry encouraged everyone to vote, saying “both of my parents are pastors and staunch Republicans. I did not finish high school and, unfortunately, I don’t have a formal education, but I do have an open mind, and I have a voice. So I am asking you to have an open mind and to use your voice, because on Nov. 8, it will be just as powerful as any NRA lobbyist. You will have as much say as any billionaire.
Watch Perry’s entire speech and performance:
Later, Perry Tweeted that Bloom helped her with her speech, specifically with the line “it’s not where you come from but what you grow into.”
. @sofifii Lando put that one in. ❤️
