Scaramucci Responds to Insane New Yorker Convo: ‘I Sometimes Use Colorful Language…’

Thursday afternoon, The New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza dropped a bombshell interview he had the night before with Anthony Scaramucci, the newly anointed White House communications director.
Over the course of the bonkers interview — which Scaramucci for some reason did not declare off the record — the new staffer fumed about White House leaks, called Reince Priebus “a fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,” and declared “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own cock.”
The interview naturally sent the internet into a DEFCON 1 meltdown, as Twitter eagerly awaited The Mooch’s response. And then, a few hours later, it arrived:
I sometimes use colorful language. I will refrain in this arena but not give up the passionate fight for @realDonaldTrump‘s agenda. #MAGA

Scaramucci reportedly called Lizza after the journalist caught word he would be dining at the White House with President Donald Trump, Sean Hannity and former Fox News exec Bill Shine.
The new communications director has spent to first six days of his tenure obsessing over leaks flowing from a White House with an unprecedented penchant for sharing palace intrigue with reporters.
After getting Lizza on the phone, Scaramucci reportedly demanded his reveal his source of the dinner information, “threatening to fire the entire White House communications staff” if Lizza declined.
The fact that Scaramucci did not seem to understand that reporters are not inclined to reveal sources — paired with his oversight in declaring the conversation off the record — hints that maybe Sean Spicer was right when he said Mooch wasn’t up for the job as comms director.
