AP Video Journalist Killed by Bomb in Gaza

Italian Associated Press video journalist Simone Camilli was one of six killed in Gaza Wednesday when a bomb ordnance exploded in Gaza.

Several engineers were working on neutralizing the bomb, which remained from fighting between Israel and Hamas, when it detonated, killing Camilli, the engineers, and Palestinian translator Ali Shehda Abu Afash. Another AP employee was seriously injured in the blast.

Camilli had worked for AP since 2005, and had been based out of Jerusalem since 2006.
