Awkward Alert: Sen. McCain Thinks Snooki Is “Too Good Looking To Go to Jail”
The latest in awkward McCain-Snooki interactions came yesterday afternoon on KMLE radio in Phoenix when the Arizona Senator weighed in on Snooki’s recent arrest for disorderly conduct. Even though Snooki is unlikely to face any jail time for her drunken tirade against the cops, Sen. McCain rose to her defense:
“I kind of think she might be too good looking to go to jail.”
Um. Awkward.
Recently, McCain and the 22-year-old Jersey Shore star seem to have established quite the rapport. In an interview last month with Daily Beast columnist (and Sen. McCain’s daughter) Meghan McCain, Snooki said she voted for McCain in the 2008 elections because he is “really cute.” Later, when Snooki expressed concern over the new tax on tanning, Sen. McCain reassured Snooki, via Twitter, that he “would never tax your tanning bed.”
Anyone else feeing uncomfortable?
