Clinton Swiftly Bonks Pence for Not Saying Whether David Duke is ‘Deplorable’

Mike Pence caused a big stir when he refused to tell Wolf Blitzer whether he found David Duke deplorable or not. He was on CNN in part to continue jabbing Hillary Clinton over her “basket of deplorables” comment, so it sort of makes sense that he would stick to the “no name-calling” thing.

But only sort of.

After all, Duke is a well-known former Grand Wizard of the KKK.

Clinton saw the chance to jab back and she took it:

Bonus points to Clinton for using Trump’s own swipe at her against him. Earlier today, while discussing her “deplorables” quip, he said, “You can’t lead this nation if you have such a low opinion of its citizens.”
