Cornel West, Ferguson Protesters Arrested Outside St. Louis Courthouse
Multiple protesters outside a courthouse in St. Louis, including Dr. Cornel West and DeRay McKesson, were arrested Monday afternoon.
Last night, as protesters gathered in Ferguson on the anniversary of Michael Brown‘s death, shots were fired and, according to police reports, cops ended up shooting someone who opened fire on them.
Various protesters were arrested for reportedly going past police barricades. People and reporters on the scene snapped photos of what they witnessed:

One of the protesters arrested tweeted this beforehand:
If I'm arrested today please know I'm not suicidal. I have plenty to live for. I did not resist, I'm just black.
