Drones Are Being Used to Spy on Soccer Practices Now

Drones: is there anything they can’t do legally?

Apparently they can spy on soccer practices. That’s, at least, what France’s soccer team told Fifa, after the team spotted a drone hovering above its practice in Ribeirão Preto, ahead of its game against Honduras. Though the players found the little bugger amusing, France’s coach Didier Deschamps believed the drone to have been spying on the team’s preparations.

Deschamps said Fifa was investigating the incident. “Fifa handles this and has been carrying out an inquiry,” he said. “We don’t want any intrusion into our privacy. It’s very hard to fight this these days.”
