First Family’s Holiday Vacation Threatened By – Ugh – Leaking Sewage

Poor President Obama. The guy can get as far away from Washington DC as possible but he still can’t avoid being surrounded by crap. Massive rainstorms in Hawaii have caused sewage leaks all over paradise and right in the area that the Obamas are staying. Looks like, instead of a white Christmas, they’re going to have a…oh, I can’t even finish that sentence.

From Hawaii Reporter:

“The City & County of Honolulu reports there were an estimated 14 sewage spills during the heavy rainstorm last weekend, at least four of which the state says happened in the windward community of Kailua where President Obama and his family are staying this holiday season.
Those sewage overflows rose from waterlogged manholes and went into the Kaelepulu Stream, which is one of two major waterways in the Kailua district. No total for the sewage gallon count total has been posted yet.”

Alright, lets have at it, everyone. The president’s idyllic vacation is being encroached upon by tons of human waste. Clearly this is a metaphor for something. I’ll leave it up to you all to come up with the best one. Personally, I’d go with something involving the 2012 election. Mostly because (could it get any better?) Mitt Romney’s down there too.

I wish my family could afford a holiday vacation. I wish my family could afford any vacation. Maybe if the economy gets better…………

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that the beach near Obama’s Hawaiian vacation home is closed because the water is full of crap, and the beach near his vacation home on Cape Cod was closed because the water was full of crap, and everywhere Obama goes there’s usually a couple flies landing on his face, and the White House seems to be over run with flies, rats and bees.

Kinda makes this little tid-bit more relevant: “You know, I actually believe my own bull—,” Obama told the author of Renegade: The Making of a President, Richard Wolffe
