2. David Paterson vs. New York Times – Career-ending? No.
In one of the stranger roll-outs ever to take place, the New York Times found themselves writing about their impending-doom profile of New York Governor David Paterson even before they had published part 1.
The profile itself – actually in three parts (and then more) – ended up less bombshell and more politics-as-usual…especially for an Albany politician. Paterson remains the Governor of New York.
