Former El Diario/La Prensa Editor Named Senior Editor Of Fox News Latino

Fox News’ Latino-focused website launching this Fall has a Senior Editor – Alberto Vourvoulias-Bush.

The announcement comes as Latino issues are very much in the news – with the ruling today regarding the Arizona Immigration case.

For those doing a bit of a double take – yes, Fox News is launching FoxNewsLatino.com in the next few months (right now it just redirects back to FoxNews.com). In the announcement today, SVP of News Editorial Michael Clemente said, “Alberto’s extensive experience in the Latino media market will serve as a major asset to the launch of FOXNewsLatino.com this fall.”

Vourvoulias-Bush joins Fox News from impreMedia where he was Corporate Executive Editor. He ran online, multimedia and print editorial strategy outlets like La Opinion, El Diario/La Prensa and their online news sites. He joined El Diario/La Prensa in 2005 as Executive Editor. He previously served as Deputy Editor of Time Magazine’s Latin America Edition and was Director, of Time Americas.
