Former Israeli Leader Shimon Peres Has Died
Shimon Peres, a former prime minister and president of Israel, has died today at age 93, according to multiple reports.
Peres was hospitalized after suffering a stroke two weeks ago and his health had been deteriorating.
Peres is a celebrated statesman who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994, alongside Yasser Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin, for their work on Middle East peace.
