ISIS Claims Responsibility For London Car, Knife Attack

ISIS claimed responsibility for the deadly car and knife attack outside Parliament in London, according to a breaking news report by CNN on Thursday.
“A tweet from ISIS-affiliated news agency Amaq said the attacker was ‘a soldier’ of ISIS inspired by its message,” according to CNN. However, the Islamist terrorist group “provided no evidence for any direct links to the assailant, whom it did not name.”
The news follows the announcement that at least seven people have been arrested by British law enforcement authorities in the wake of the terrorist attack in London on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, CNN’s Jake Tapper highlighted that there have been “at least 12 ISIS-related vehicle attacks since 2015,” including a similar car and knife attack at Ohio State University in November 2016, and the Nice, France truck attack in July 2016.
