Joe Biden Will Definitely Be Pres. Obama’s VP In 2012… According To Joe Biden

There has been some media speculation recently over whether Pres. Barack Obama might pick someone other than current VP Joe Biden to run with him in 2012 – specifically, Sec. Hillary Clinton.

There’s one person who is certain Biden will be the VP choice – Joe Biden.

In a lengthy profile following Biden on the campaign trail, the New York Times‘ Sheryl Gay Stolberg, Biden explained why he will definitely be the VP pick in 2012.

Via the Telegraph, and Drudge:

“I tell you what, there’s real trust, that’s why he’s asked me to run again,” Mr. Biden said Monday, dropping this tidbit at the end of a 40-minute conversation, just before he dashed off to his third fund-raiser of the day. “Look, he said, ‘We’re going to run together, are you going to run?’ I said, ‘Of course, you want me to run with you, I’m happy to run with you.’ ”

It would be far more surprising if Biden isn’t the choice than if he is, but this seems to confirm discussions are already underway that it will be Obama-Biden 2012. Unless, of course, it’s not.

It’s all irrelevant and much ado about nothing. BO has rendered his unicorn presidency impotent and most of America is already looking elsewhere to fill the void. God willing and the creek don’t rise, the massive spending spree is coming to a close. One of the more amusing bits in Bob Woodward’s recent book was when Biden tells Obama he wants to speak to him about Afghanistan and the president turns him down. The hapless veep was reduced to loitering at the entrance to the West Wing to catch Obama as he came downstairs so he could catch him by surprise and give him the benefit of his unwanted wisdom.

The veep is apparently so delusional that he thinks he could be elected President in 2016, despite his disastrous efforts in 1988 and 2008 and the fact that he would then be, er, nearly 75 (though to be fair his porcelain gnashers – which have their own website – and nylon hair plugs are considerably younger). “No, I won’t. I won’t rule that out. No,” Biden said last year when he was asked if he would rule out a 2016 presidential run….

The VP candidate doesn’t get approved until the presidential candidate secures the nomination. If Obama supporters think he has the 2012 Democrat nomination locked up, they should think again. Just wait until after Nov. 2 when all hell will break loose in the ranks of the American left. No prominent Democrat will break ranks right now, in advance of a big election, but after a huge defeat at the polls this will change overnight.
