Live Stream: Coverage And Updates Of Ohio School Shooting (UPDATED)
UPDATE: The AP is reporting the shooter is in custody. One student has died. 5 students were shot in total.
According to CNN, a high school shooting has been reported at Chardon High School near Cleveland, Ohio. While details are still unclear, it is believed that a student opened fire in the cafeteria.
CNN affiliate WJW-TV adds that “a parent of children who attend Chardon High School says the gunman in today’s shooting had specific targets and was not shooting randomly.”
Republican hopeful Mitt Romney released a statement of support for the victims.
“I am greatly saddened to hear about the senseless shooting that struck the community of Chardon, Ohio this morning,” Romney said. “Ann and I join with the people of Ohio and the country in offering our prayers for the victims and their families.”
