Marco Rubio Uses Same Line 4 Times at Debate, Even After Christie Busts Him

Florida Senator Marco Rubio let his inner “boy in the bubble” show at Saturday night’s Republican presidential debate, tripping and falling right into Chris Christie‘s criticism that Rubio is too scripted, and unable to think on his feet. Within minutes, Rubio used the same exact line about dispelling “this fiction that Barack Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing,” with slight variations, four times.

The kicker is that even after Chris Christie called him out over it, Rubio used it a fifth time later in the debate, and may well go to it again.

At least Rubio can take solace in the fact that no one on his staff slipped “I’m Ron Burgundy?” into his debate notes.
