Michael Savage: I May ‘Withdraw’ Trump Support If He Doesn’t Disavow Enquirer Smear

michael savageMichael Savage has been more pro-Donald Trump than other conservative radio hosts, but it appears that a line has been finally crossed that he cannot accept.

What set Savage off was the “disgusting” smears from the National Enquirer about alleged Ted Cruz affairs. He said he knows for a fact that this is false and that the Enquirer is doing this in the name of just attacking Cruz.

Savage highlighted how David Pecker, the guy who runs the tabloid, is close with Trump, and said “he should get rid of this connection” because of the “assassination by innuendo.”

“I go where the truth is,” he declared. “I’ve supported Trump and probably still will, but if he won’t disavow this guy Pecker and this story, I may withdraw my support from anyone in this campaign.”
