Samantha Bee Apologizes for Mocking Eric Trump by Totally Mocking Eric Trump
Samantha Bee offered Eric Trump an apology for slamming him today…only it wasn’t so much as an apology as it was a ridiculing smackdown.
Donald Trump‘s son created a commotion on Tuesday after he was asked about some comments his father made to USA Today about sexual harassment. The Trump scion was asked about this with relation to his sister Ivanka, and he said that she “wouldn’t allow herself” to be subjected to such behavior in the workplace.
The quote drew groans from quite a few people, given the insinuation that women let harassment happen to them. Bee was among the displeased, and she decided to slam Trump on it:

Beyond mocking Trump’s quote, it would seem that the Full Frontal host was attacking both Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. for their enjoyment of hunting exotic animals while on safari in Africa. Bee apparently got a lot of flak yesterday for misidentifying the animal the Trumps killed, so she followed up with this.

Eventually, Bee put out a statement that appears to make nice with Trump, except for the part where it doesn’t do any such thing.
