Suspect Who Allegedly Shot and Killed Two Cops Has Been Caught

Two officers in the Des Moines, Iowa, area were shot and killed in an “ambush-style” slaying overnight, according to the Des Moines Register. Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 1:06 in the morning. Reportedly, that gunfire had killed the first officer and a second was fatally shot while responding.

As of this morning at 7:30, a suspect named Scott Michael Greene has been named. As of 10:37, Reuters has been reporting that he has been taken into custody.
