The New LA Chargers Logo Looks a Lot Like the Dodgers Logo and Twitter Had Some Fun With That
The Chargers made their move to Los Angeles official on Thursday morning, with owner Dean Spanos penning a letter to fans on the team’s website.
“San Diego has been our home for 56 years. It will always be part of our identity and, my family and I have nothing but gratitude and appreciation for the support and passion our fans have shared with us over the years,” Spanos wrote. “But, today we turn the page and begin an exciting new era as the Los Angeles Chargers.”
And with that turning of the page comes a new logo, which the NFL officially unveiled on its Twitter account shortly after the official announcement.

You might notice that it looks similar to the LA Dodgers logo. Very similar.
