Trump Flip-Flopped in Less than a Day on Possible Third-Party Run

PicMonkey-Collage-Trump-300x197Donald Trump changed his mind about whether or not he would run as a third-party candidate in less than twenty-four hours.

Trump told The Hill Wednesday that he was open to a third-party run if he felt he had been disrespected by Republicans. “The RNC has not been supportive,” he said. “They were always supportive when I was a contributor. I was their fair-haired boy. The RNC has been, I think, very foolish.”

“So many people” want him to run as a third-party candidate, he said. “I’ll have to see how I’m being treated by the Republicans. Absolutely, if they’re not fair, that would be a factor.”

But Tuesday evening, Trump told The Blaze’s Dana Loesch that he would only ever run as a Republican:

LOESCH: One of the questions that everyone seems to be most concerned about is what happens if Donald Trump doesn’t get the nomination? Is he going to run third-party? If it wasn’t you, are you going to support the Republican nominee?

TRUMP: …I only want to run as a Republican. I want to win, because that’s way we’re going to win, the best way… That being said, I will tell you so many people want me to run independent. But my total focus is to run as a Republican and to win.
