Moore is often the center of contentious debates on CNN over his support for the president, and his induction into the government would make him the latest cable news figure Trump has brought into his administration. Moore said he didn’t officially get the job offer when contacted recently about the reports of his nomination, but that looks like its about to change.
Just reached Stephen Moore on this WSJ report.
“I haven’t been formally offered this job yet,” he says. https://t.co/0DdmdPWZKx— Jeremy Diamond (@JDiamond1) March 22, 2019
CNN’s Brian Stelter has announced that Moore is no longer part of the network:
Moore joined CNN as a contributor in early 2017. Given this news, he is no longer with the network, a CNN spokeswoman confirms. https://t.co/v2donxatUE
